CopyByte CEO Jonathan Bailey was featured in an article in PBS’ MediaShift earlier today, March 23. The article, which deals with how newspapers approach and handle plagiarism within their own ranks, has an interview with Jonathan and Dr. Debora Weber-Wulff, who is well-noted for her testing of plagiarism-detection systems.
The article also details some of the tools newspapers could be using to detect plagiarism within their ranks as well as some of the key reasons why so many are not. Also quoted in the article is Robert Cruetz of IThenticate and Peter Bhatia, former president of the American Society of Newspaper Editors.
